Cadent is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers capable of providing a modern, cloud-based Gazetteer Management solution to support critical operational functions, including address search, address matching, data maintenance and secure API-driven integration across multiple enterprise systems. Through this Expression of Interest, Cadent is seeking to identify potential suppliers with the capability, experience and technical expertise to deliver a highly accurate, scalable, resilient and fully managed SaaS platform. Potential suppliers should be able to demonstrate capability in maintaining multi-source address datasets, delivering high-accuracy address matching, enabling efficient bulk data exploration, supporting bespoke address creation, and integrating effectively with Cadent's key enterprise systems, including SAP CX, SAP S/4HANA, GIS and other cloud-hosted platforms. Suppliers responding to this Expression of Interest are invited to demonstrate their relevant experience, solution capability, delivery approach, integration capability and ongoing support model. This Expression of Interest is intended to identify suitably capable suppliers who may be interested in participating in a subsequent procurement process. It does not constitute an invitation to tender or a commitment by Cadent to proceed with a procurement exercise. Current State Cadent currently consumes a cloud hosted Gazetteer Management Service that provides address search, address matching, bespoke address creation, data maintenance and bulk data exploration capabilities through a suite of APIs. The service integrates with multiple Cadent systems, including SAP CX, SAP S/4 HANA, GIS (Esri ArcGIS Enterprise), portal applications and operational platforms. The existing solution delivers >99% availability, API responses averaging under two seconds, and includes a fully managed SaaS model with software updates and security patching performed by the vendor. Standard address datasets such as AddressBase Premium, enriched with gas industry datasets (e.g. Meter and Supplier information), are updated at varying frequencies and matched together to a high level of success. Security controls include token based authentication and adherence to GDPR and ISO 27001 standards. Future State Cadent requires a highly resilient and scalable cloud based SaaS solution capable of supporting 24/7 operations for gas emergency and customer facing services. The future solution must continue to provide fast and reliable API performance (99% availability, and deliver enhanced operational reporting and monitoring. The platform must support full lifecycle data updates across address datasets, ensure high accuracy address matching, and integrate seamlessly with both existing and future Cadent enterprise systems, including Business Continuity platforms. Vendors must operate to GDPR, (minimum Cyber Essentials Plus) ISO 27001 and Cadent's internal security standards. Improved vendor support hours (24 by 7 cover), modern alerting mechanisms, stronger service reporting and better data update flexibility are key future-state needs.
